The scintillation index on the axis for Gaussian beams focused and collimated in weak marine turbulence is formulated via usage of Rytov method. average bit error rate <BER> evaluated using this formulation. versus propagation distance source size are determined by log-normal distributed. Intensity focused. beams, which exhibited wavelength, size, focal length, <SNR>. revealing more advantageous than an atmospheric environment. findings study significant optical communication system performance layer.
